Once I had downloaded the current version on a new computer and I went back to my old computer and looked for them in the Mac App Store application I was asked if I wanted to download a past purchase. These were full installers I downloaded, not updaters. I had never had copies of any of those applications on the computer nor had I ever downloaded any with my Apple ID. I had tried downloading it before but it was not available to me with Mavericks until I downloaded the free version for Mojave. And no, it wasn't because it was a bundled version. When I returned to my Mavericks machine and logged into the Mac App Store I was able to download Mavericks compatible versions onto the 2008 iMac I was using at the time. I downloaded the iWork applications, which at that time needed Mojave or greater, on that machine. I run Mavericks at home but had access to a computer with Mojave. It does maintain them, or at least a year ago they did. The current versions of these applications in the Mac App Store require that your Mac is running macOS Catalina (10.15.*), or macOS Big Sur (11.*) before they will install.
